Quantum-corrected charged AdS black holes surrounded by quintessence-like fluid with global monopole: Geodesic, perturbations, and thermodynamics
Abstract
Inspired by loop quantum gravity (LQG), we investigate a charged black hole (BH) solution in an anti-de Sitter (AdS) space background, surrounded by a quintessence-like fluid. We begin by analyzing the optical properties of the BH through the study of null geodesic motion, deriving an effective potential that governs photon dynamics. This effective potential is central to understanding key phenomena such as photon trajectories, circular null orbits, the photon sphere, and the resulting BH shadow — an important observational feature in gravitational lensing and BH imaging. Subsequently, we study scalar field perturbations of the BH solution by solving the massless Klein–Gordon equation. By recasting this equation into a Schrödinger-like form, we extract a scalar perturbation potential that enables us to assess the linear stability of the BH configuration under small disturbances. Furthermore, we explore the thermodynamic behavior of the BH solution computing important quantities, such as the Hawking temperature, entropy, specific heat capacity, and Gibbs free energy, which together show insights into the thermodynamic stability and possible phase transitions of the system. Throughout the study, we find that the geodesic structure, scalar field dynamics, and thermodynamic properties are significantly influenced by several geometrical and physical parameters. These include the symmetry-breaking energy scale, the quantum correction, the electric charge, the nature of the surrounding quintessence-like fluid, and the AdS curvature radius. These factors lead to substantial modifications in the results compared to the classical Reissner–Nordström BH, highlighting the rich structure and potential observational signatures introduced by quantum gravitational effects and exotic matter components.
