Abstract

Given an acyclic map [Formula: see text] of closed manifolds of dimension [Formula: see text], we study the relationship between the existence of embeddings of [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text] with those of [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text] when [Formula: see text].
