Learning to Live With Inevitabilities in Software Engineering
Abstract
The students who wish to pursue software engineering need to know what they will very likely come across eventually in the real-world so that they can be prepared for it early and avoid unpleasant surprises later. This note highlights six such basic inevitabilities. That these inevitabilities have been around for many years means that they need to be taken seriously and should be an integral part of software engineering education.
