Ultra-low latency software (HEVC and VVC) encoding: capabilities and applications
Abstract
Low-latency video streaming offers the near-instantaneous transmission of video creating a real-time viewing experience. Ultra-low latency streaming has enabled several applications including video conferencing, cloud gaming, remote desktop, broadcast contribution, and other applications beyond media and entertainment including remote monitoring and teleoperation in defense, telemedicine and industrial use cases.
