Abstract

MOQ Transport (MOQT) is redefining how live and on-demand media are delivered over the Internet, offering a unified, low-latency and scalable transport layer. In this work, we demonstrate the flexibility of MOQT in supporting both real-time and time-shifted content using a single delivery format. Our system achieves sub-second latency for live streaming, enabling seamless clip generation and playback without requiring protocol or format changes. This combination of features, real-time responsiveness, format unification and timeline-based navigation, has not been realized together before, and it opens new possibilities for interactive media experiences.
