Abstract

This paper proposes Wearable Rhythm, a wearable system that encourages awareness of multi-layered, non-linear temporality. In contrast to dominant, efficiency-oriented views of time, the system ambiently conveys rhythms linked to bodily sensations. The current prototype maps physiological and behavioral rhythms into multisensory ambient cues, facilitating an exploration of how these layered temporalities shape an embodied awareness of time.
