Abstract

Active and passive exercise improve executive function. Here, we demonstrate that a passive exercise cadence-based change in cerebral blood flow does not influence the extent of a postexercise executive function benefit. Thus, results show that an exercise-based increase in cerebral blood flow is not a primary moderator of a postexercise executive function benefit.
