Erratum
Abstract
In the article “Monkeypox-Related Keratitis: Case Series” [Case Rep Ophthalmol. 2025;16(1):430–438; https://doi.org/10.1159/000546007] by Aljawi et al., the following is being corrected due to the authors’ error. The first patient in this case series was treated with topical cidofovir 0.2% four times daily, instead of systemic cidofovir as previously stated.The corrected sentence is as follows: “Twenty-one days of topical cidofovir and 4 weeks of interferon alpha-2a drops were completed, prednisolone acetate 1% was tapered until it became once daily, tacrolimus 0.02% twice daily was added, and the patient was still on systemic valacyclovir 500 mg twice daily.”
