Metric Choice and Programming-Output Concordance in DBS Lead Reconstruction Robustness
Abstract
We read with interest the robustness assessment by Barlatey et al. [1], which provides a valuable and methodologically careful evaluation of lead reconstruction reproducibility across distinct postoperative CT sets.Their use of two independent same-patient CTs to isolate computational pipeline variability from true lead migration is an elegant design that addresses a question of growing relevance as image-based programming approaches clinical use.We offer two considerations regarding the individual-level analysis.
