Abstract

Abstract This article consists of two parts: Part 1 is an introduction to the context in which the design turn debate emerged within German design research, written by Claudia Mareis. Part 2 is an abridged English translation of Wolfgang Schäffner's original Design Turn text, first published in German in 2010.
