New Paleotropical Xyleborini genera (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae: Xyleborini)

As part of a revision of Euwallacea Hopkins, we identified several species which did not possess the characters, such as, the protibial outer margin without a deep groove the above apical mucro to accommodate the tarsi, that diagnose Euwallacea. Five new genera are described to accommodate these species: Araeobora Smith & Cognato gen. nov., Blandfordium Smith & Cognato gen. nov., Cirrhoborus Smith & Cognato gen. nov., Hulcranthus Smith & Cognato gen. nov., Lilliputus Smith & Cognato gen. nov.. Six new species are described: Cirrhoborus durus Smith & Cognato sp. nov. (Indonesia), Lilliputus balmuffi Smith & Cognato sp. nov. (Palau), Lilliputus blefuscu Smith & Cognato sp. nov. (Solomon Islands), Lilliputus gulliveri Smith & Cognato sp. nov. (Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands), Lilliputus limnoci Smith & Cognato sp. nov. (Indonesia and Papua New Guinea), Lilliputus mullyullyguei Smith & Cognato sp. nov. (Papua New Guinea) and six new combinations are proposed: Blandfordium minutus (Blandford) comb. nov., Cirrhoborus granulipes (Schedl) stat. res., comb. nov., Cirrhoborus timidus (Schedl) comb. nov., Hulcranthus andreae (Hulcr & Cognato) comb. nov., Lilliputus galoanus (Browne) comb. nov. (from Euwallacea Hopkins) and Araeobora sulcicauda (Schedl) comb. nov. (from Stictodex Hulcr & Cognato).
