Spatial Behavior of the Solution to the Boltzmann Equation Without Angular Cutoff for $\gamma+2s \geq 1$
Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the quantitative spatial behavior of solutions to the Boltzmann equation with hard potentials for $\gamma+2s \geq 1$ in the whole space $\mathbb{R}^{3}$, under the near equilibrium regime and without the angular cutoff assumption. Assuming appropriate spatial decay and Sobolev regularity of the initial data, we derive the spatial asymptotic behavior of the solution, which is determined by the decay rate of the initial condition.
