Immunophenotyping challenges in the diagnosis of NK-LGLL
Abstract
We read with interest the study published by Pastoret et al, 1 which proposes revised diagnostic criteria for natural killer (NK) large granular lymphocytic leukemia (NK-LGLL).We feel additional clarity is needed to appropriately apply the proposed immunophenotypic criteria, as NK cell immunophenotyping is not routinely performed in most clinical laboratories.
