Interstitial lung diseases: from invisibility to integration – a call to build collaborative networks
Abstract
Extract We read with great interest the article by Lough et al. [1]. Diffuse interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) remain one of the greatest diagnostic challenges in current respiratory medicine, owing to their low prevalence, overlapping symptoms with more common conditions and the absence of pathognomonic tests in most cases [2]. Nevertheless, achieving an accurate and early diagnosis is essential to guide treatment decisions and determine prognosis.
