ERJ Open Research in 2026: progress and future directions
Abstract
Extract As we welcome 2026, ERJ Open Research celebrates a milestone: we are entering our 11th year of publication. Having successfully completed our first decade [1–4], our vision for the second decade is clear and ambitious: to establish ERJ Open Research as the best open access journal in respiratory medicine. We are confident that we will achieve both the quantitative growth and qualitative maturity necessary to realise the vision.
