Abstract

Stay in your lane. Despite seminal calls to action otherwise (Institute of Medicine, 2001, 2011), it is an all-too-familiar refrain in health care and nursing. Both editors—J.L.W. of the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing (CJON) and J.O. of the Oncology Nursing Forum (Forum)—have experienced the phrase and/or sentiment while working to advance the profession and patient care.
