Abstract

The BREAKWATER trial previously demonstrated that encorafenib and cetuximab plus modified FOLFOX6 offers significant benefit in BRAFV600E-mutant metastatic colorectal cancer and received accelerated FDA approval. A new analysis showed that encorafenib and cetuximab plus FOLFIRI yields a significant and clinically meaningful benefit compared with FOLFIRI and bevacizumab as first-line treatment in this patient population (Abstract 13).
