Abstract

Oncologists are at an elevated risk of burnout, working an average of 58 hours per week, caring for dozens of patients, and experiencing continuous emotional strain. An adapted Patient Empowerment Program for health care professionals may offer a unique opportunity to enhance mindfulness, exercise, communication training, nutrition education, and cognitive reframing, allowing oncologists to thrive rather than merely survive.
