Second-Line Cabozantinib Is Associated With Better Survival Outcomes Than Other Options in Advanced RCC
Abstract
Safety and efficacy results from the retrospective GUARDIANS study support cabozantinib as a potential second-line treatment for patients with advanced RCC following disease progression on ipilimumab plus nivolumab (Abstract 437). Although the findings are in line with results from previous phase 2 trial, larger prospective studies are needed to better determine the optimal second-line treatment strategy for this patient population.
