Abstract
ASCO has released a guideline update addressing advances in the use of immunotherapy and targeted therapy for the treatment of advanced gastroesophageal cancer, particularly in the first-line setting. New recommendations involve the early use of predictive biomarker testing, considerations regarding degree and measurement of PD-L1 expression, and treatment decision-making.
