Abstract

According to a cost-consequence analysis of a 100-patient cohort with metastatic CRPC who were covered by Medicare, treatment over 18 months costs approximately $9.97 million for cabazitaxel compared with approximately $29.37 million for the prostate-specific membrane antigen Lutetium-177 vipivotide tetraxetan (Lu-PSMA), representing a 66% reduction in cost with cabazitaxel (Abstract 41). There was no statistically significant difference in OS between the 2 treatments, although Lu-PSMA demonstrated better prostate-specific antigen and PFS outcomes.
