Abstract

This chapter will introduce the general physiological processes associated with cells and tissues of the human body. The human body is a complex machine made up of multiple interconnected systems that work together to maintain our health and vitality. These are known as the human physiological systems. Some examples include the nervous, circulatory, respiratory, musculoskeletal, and renal systems. Each of these systems has a specific role and function in the body, and they all interact with each other to keep the body functioning smoothly. Understanding these systems and how they work is a fundamental part of human biology and medicine.
