Abstract

The aim of this chapter is to develop the authors’ original knowledge spiral on the use of artificial intelligence mechanisms to solve problems in the field of climate hazards and climate change. The scope of the chapter covers issues related to determining the knowledge spiral in the use of AI in monitoring and neutralizing adverse climate change, including mitigation of hazards related to weather and climate anomalies related to various sectors of the economy such as agriculture, tourism, etc. The subject of the chapter concerns the use of a modified knowledge spiral, which seems justified in the case of solving AI-related problems. The systematic review of the relevant literature in this monograph allowed for the specification of keywords related to the issues of artificial intelligence, its impact on the creation of climate hazards, as well as artificial intelligence monitoring climate change. Understanding concepts closely related to artificial intelligence and its impact on climate change allowed for the identification of such key concepts that can be used to create a universal model describing the current state of science and knowledge in the field of strategic information management systems and productive analyses used to capture climate anomalies and weather changes, including all kinds of other variables that can affect the quality of life of people and the entire natural ecosystem.
