Abstract

The climate crisis and its incredible dynamics affect the entire spectrum of human existence in the space of society, business and the economy. The degree of emerging climate hazards generates huge human and infrastructural losses. Hence, it becomes crucial to search for technological, organizational, management and operational mechanisms and solutions, the combined implementation of which can mitigate and neutralize constantly emerging climate hazards and threats. The advancing development of artificial intelligence opens up incredible opportunities to predict climate change, catastrophes, anomalies and dysfunctions, and creates new principles for climate management geared towards scientific potential in the disciplines of management and quality sciences and climate sciences. Artificial intelligence and its intellectual strength create new platforms for providing information about climate hazards and modeling climate processes by creating new climate services and shaping new business models that have a positive impact on the climate, new products and new smart climate values. The essence of using artificial intelligence for the effective and efficient management of climate hazards opens the way to initiating decision-making processes based on the development of artificial intelligence theory in evolutionary terms in relation to the dynamics of organizational, managerial and technical–operational changes of companies, cities and individual countries. Therefore, AI technologies can also be used in the construction of digital business models of companies that have a positive impact on climate change. Artificial intelligence is also essential in managing strategic climate information to develop crisis management principles in dynamic terms. Appropriate and properly applied weather forecasting and modelling of climate change by means of AI solutions is also important. Furthermore, it is important to jointly create the digital and climate transformation based on digital solutions treated as a dynamic process of emerging social and economic changes. AI solutions can also be used to verify the carbon footprint of complete supply chains in international terms. Hence, artificial intelligence, its algorithmization and algocracy create a new dimension of decision-making mechanisms in climate hazard management. It seems that the potential use of artificial intelligence to manage climate hazards has not yet been fully exploited to create intelligent climate values in turn.
