Abstract

The inevitability of balanced life is a concept that was first introduced to adjust the life of the human. It aims to reduce any deviation from normal life, attitude, activity, and the like. Those activities usually did not exist before the Industrial Revolution and led to elevating problems mainly to human and animal health. This chapter is an extension of this concept but applied to the animals. Farming animals’ lives are facing nearly the same problems due to modernization, excessive production styles, excessive use of antimicrobial agents, antibiotic resistance, damage to animal welfare, accumulation of undesired compounds in the final products, etc. Applying the concept of the inevitability of balanced life to animal farming and husbandry will guarantee products that are safe for humans with acceptable quality and will guarantee the best conditions for the animals’ welfare. This chapter discusses some important problems faced by animals, poultry, and fish during their excessively crowded modern production. Additionally, it introduces some solutions that could lead to the correct balance between the production process’s conditions, profit, product safety and quality, and animals’ welfare. But the most important point is that it reintroduces the concept of the inevitability of the balanced life, which will save humans, animals, nature, resources, and the like.
