Abstract

The integration of biodiversity, ecological, and immuno-informatics with artificial intelligence (AI), computational chemistry, and bioinformatics is transforming drug innovation and discovery. Biodiversity offers a diverse pool of bioactive compounds and genetic resources that are being increasingly probed through ecological informatics to reveal species interactions and environmental factors. Immuno-informatics uses computational tools to unravel the intricacies of the immune system to aid in vaccine development and immunotherapy. When combined with AI-powered computational bioinformatics and computational chemistry, these fields facilitate high-throughput screening, predictive modeling, and rational drug design, accelerating the discovery of new therapeutics. Such a multidisciplinary approach improves precision medicine by leveraging natural biological diversity and immune system knowledge, aided by powerful computational tools and big data analytics. The interaction between these disciplines solves drug development challenges such as target identification, prediction of efficacy, and minimizing toxicity, to finally promote innovative and sustainable pharmaceutical solutions.
