Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Nanomaterials for LED and Optics
Abstract
In recent years, advancements in laser technology and photonics have significantly enhanced the incorporation of photochromic compounds into hybrid matrices. This work aims to underscore both the current capabilities of these innovative materials and the promising avenues for further research and development within the domain of luminescent technologies. Particularly, we emphasize the potential of hybrid materials to optimize the performance of photorefractive compounds across various applications, with a specific focus on data storage and optical technologies. Here, different synthesis approaches have been discussed in detail, where strategies to enhance their luminescent properties are also emphasized. In addition, the applicability of such hybrid materials in different types of optical emission devices is discussed. By examining these developments, we aim to provide insights into how hybrid materials can contribute to advancing the functionality and efficiency of luminescent systems, thereby opening new pathways for technological innovation.
