Abstract

The importance of fuel cells nowadays has made us to think of extending research studies in the area of materials that can be used in them. Several materials either organic or inorganic or hybrid ones can be used for the development of various fuel cells leading to the formation of efficient energy conversion devices. In this chapter, we discuss the importance of fuel cells, their types, and how they can be used for various applications. The main agenda of this chapter is to make the readers to know about various novel nanomaterials that can enhance the efficiency and productivity of these fuel cells.
