Empowering Indian agriculture through intelligent automation
Abstract
Indian agriculture, the cornerstone of the nation’s economy, encounters significant challenges, including outdated farming techniques, environmental degradation, and diminishing interest among the younger generations. This study examined the potential of fuzzy wireless sensor networks (FWSN) to automate agricultural practices through intelligent automation. By identifying key issues, proposing cost-effective solutions, and validating them through statistical analysis, this study demonstrates how automation can enhance plant protection while reducing dependence on chemical insecticides. The integration of fuzzy logic with sensor networks offers a low-maintenance and efficient approach to precision agriculture, enabling farmers to make data-driven decisions. This advancement not only enhances agricultural efficiency but also supports sustainability, making it a promising prospect for future farming in India.
