Drawing and painting

Digital painting/drawing is essentially the same as traditional painting and drawing, just using digital software instead. The software I will be using throughout the tasks and demonstrations is Photoshop, but any digital software can be used to create the works in this book. I will be using an on-screen drawing tablet throughout. You will get better results using an on-screen tablet, but I have done these exercises before using an off-screen tablet and also a mouse in the past. You may also choose to use paper and marker pens, if digital technology isn&s;t available.
