AIoT Application in Smart Eco-Friendly Manufacturing System
Abstract
The abbreviation “AIoT” (Artificial Intelligence of Things) refers to a conception which to some extent indicates that the sophistication and efficacy of Internet of Things (IoT) gadgets and networks may be enhanced with the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. These are the AI technologies that include machine learning and natural language processing that work in collaboration with the devices and have capabilities of intelligent actions end-making. Because of these systems, it is possible to perform organizational changes in factories, regulate traffic in smart city, and utilize energy inside smart house in accordance with the real-time data received from the sensors. Also, AI security systems can identify given actions and unusual traffic as well as prevent cyberattacks on IoT systems and their data. AI contained in IoT devices may suggest content depending on user&s;s preferences or actions and context they are in. Integrated cognition that is geographically closer to end devices due to the existence of the edge in IoT edge devices consequently renders low latency analytics possible on the edge. It also reduces the time period, reduction in the traffic required, and lesser utilization of the cloud computing which enhances the speed and efficiency of IoT frameworks. There has been a continuous attempt to integrate AI and IoT systems presents a lot of possibilities in making intelligent, interconnected, and autonomous systems for innovation and enhancement of human life in different fields in humanities such as healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, and smart cities. This chapter provides an extensive analysis of the technology that aligns with sustainable manufacturing of AIoT from an industrial perspective.
