Abstract

Steganography is the hidden information in regular media and is extremely important for secure online communication. Cyber threats constantly change, protecting your privacy and providing the perfect opportunity to send secret messages. However, there are hurdles to limiting intelligent detection tools, such as the amount of hidden data and various media types. This chapter discusses essential challenges in the steganography system. The authors explored different types of steganography such as network steganography, 3D steganography, steganography in IoT, and quantum steganography etc. It also addresses new trends that will affect the future of security systems. Some of the major challenges includes integration of new machine-learning techniques, deep-learning techniques, quantum computing and many more. This chapter aims to provide a deeper look at the places where steganography is increasingly connected to the observed world.
