Abstract

In the current digital transformation era, steganography has rapidly advanced, making information concealment more sophisticated and complex to detect. As a countermeasure, steganalysis, the process of identifying hidden data, has become increasingly important in ensuring information security. This research chapter presents a comprehensive evaluation of various steganalysis tools, including those based on deep learning, machine learning, and statistical techniques. These tools are analyzed and compared in terms of accuracy, computational efficiency, resource requirements, and reliability. Additionally, the study explores real-world applications of steganalysis and assesses the robustness of each tool in detecting concealed information across different media types.
