Abstract

We shall assume, with respect to the conditions of correctness, that all points of the domain T L occupied by the lot on the time axis, are selected with a uniform density of selecting probability. We may imagine many selection modes; however, only the three following modes can be probabilistic: a systematic selection with the random positioning of the starting point a stratified random selection a strict random selection Only the two first modes are recommended because the third one has never been found to be superior, either by geostatisticians or by Dr. Pierre Gy.
