Abstract

Machine learning is essential in the arena of Artificial Intelligence(AI) for the development of smart decision-making systems. The correlation between AI and machine learning, seems to be effective because AI depends heavily on machine learning algorithms for various applications. The introduction of AI in medicine has brought about a revolution that innovatively transforms healthcare practices. These computational models were inspired by the structure and function of the human brain. It consists of interconnected nodes (neurons) that process information and learn patterns from data. Machine learning techniques, along with advanced artificial intelligence methods, have demonstrated the ability to detect patterns allied with diseases and health conditions, thus enabling more accurate predictions and personalized healthcare interventions. These systems enable machine learning algorithms to learn from data automatically, advance their predictive capabilities, and enhance healthcare delivery. It is important to determine the advantages and drawbacks of using these techniques in several areas that are crucial for human intelligence to improve performance and efficiency. Hence, it is necessary to identify suitable decision-making mechanisms and rule sets that ascertain the operational features of AI more effectively, such as reshaping medical education and computer network technology, and exploring legal implications to ensure responsible deployment. This chapter explores the architecture, training processes, and applications of neural networks and deep-learning models, highlighting AI’s transformative role of AI in modern medicine.
