Abstract

Stroke is an acute cerebrovascular disease, a group of diseases caused by the sudden rupture of blood vessels in the brain or the blockage of blood vessels that prevents blood from flowing to the brain. The detection and segmentation of stroke lesions from medical images is the main way for doctors to diagnose and treat, but this way has problems of low efficiency and high requirements for professional knowledge. The artificial intelligence method can learn target features from a large number of image sets and use multiple nonlinear transformations, feature extraction, and mapping to complete the identification and segmentation of stroke lesions. This chapter will introduce the application of artificial intelligence methods in stroke disease research
