Abstract

Green technologies and renewable energy systems (RES) are important developments in power generation that support a pollution-free environment in the ongoing quest for sustainable energy solutions. Conventional RES frameworks require technological advancements despite being widely used over the past 15–20 years. The deployment of state-of-the-art technologies in the RES domain is thoroughly examined in this study. We examine how artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, big data, and blockchain might be incorporated into renewable energy infrastructures like solar and wind systems. An assessment that provides insights into the various goals of RES and the efficiency of contemporary technological advancements in accomplishing these goals rounds out this study.
