Abstract

Robotic farming is a revolutionary practice that enhances efficiency, consistency, and sustainability in the agricultural industry. Automation and intelligent machines have significantly improved precision fertilization, seeding, harvesting, cattle maintenance, and many more to develop precision farming these days. This automation results in plant growth optimization, high crop yields, and low labor costs and waste. The new digital inventions have enhanced food safety, powered farmers with data-driven decisions, helped them to adapt to climate change, guided them with crop selection, and extended yields even when the agricultural labor force is shrinking. Considering the above advancements and challenges, we have discussed the importance of robotic farming, the latest robots used in Indian agriculture, the marketing adaptability, and their issues. Automation increased environmental sustainability and production, but it also brought up socioeconomic problems, including labor displacement and the necessity for significant technology investments. This study highlights the policies and initiatives promoted by the Indian government to enhance digital farming with real-time use cases.
