Abstract

The user experience and smartphone efficiency have both improved as a result. Biocompatibility and long-term stability are only two of the numerous challenges that must be overcome while also addressing ethical and legal concerns. These challenges highlight the need for responsible technological development in this field that has potential to change the game. This work unveils the remarkable properties of layered two-dimensional materials (2DMs), highlighting them as essential components in the development of stretchable and wearable electronics (WEs) that could revolutionize patient care and monitoring. A thorough grasp of the basic process-structure-property relationships at the device level will enable the construction of more efficient and responsive 2DM sensors. Here, current developments in stretchable and WEs sensors based on 2DMs for various applications are discussed in terms of both devices and materials.
