Abstract

This chapter focuses on the characterization of various doped perovskite materials and their diverse applications. Section 18.1 provides an overview of doped perovskites, highlighting their wide-ranging applications. Section 18.2 discusses the synthetic strategies for doped perovskite materials, including one-pot hot injection, reprecipitation, ion exchange, doped perovskite films, solvothermal methods, and other approaches. These methods are essential for the design and optimization of target materials. Section 18.3 explores the properties and chemistry of doped perovskites, with a focus on the influence of doping position and dopant elements. Section 18.4 reviews the various applications of doped perovskite materials, including in photovoltaic (PV) cells, luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs), light-emitting diodes (LEDs), scintillators, and other technologies. Finally, Section 18.5 concludes with a summary and presents a perspective on future research directions.
