Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy is seen as one of the fundamental competencies for individuals to develop knowledge and skills throughout their lives. In this regard, it is important to support different individual groups so that they can acquire the necessary competencies. In order for everyone to be able to use AI effectively, consciously, and ethically, they must master the components of AI literacy, which are “know and understand,” “application,” “evaluate,” and “ethical issues.” In this context, a review and evaluation of the relevant literature has been conducted. These components have been addressed separately for different individual groups, and recommendations have been made for the scope of lifelong learning. It is anticipated that this study, which addresses AI literacy for everyone and provides effective educational recommendations, will make an important contribution to the literature.
