Abstract

An explanation of fundamentals, i.e., the basic structure and texture, of g -C 3 N 4 is provided. The similarities with carbon materials are summarized in a table to assist the understanding of the materials science of g -C 3 N 4 . The basic concept of the construction of this book is explained.
