Abstract

The chapter delves into the basics of the sensor's data to be used and shows the real-time value to the user in an effortless and simple interface. The heart is monitored using the electrocardiogram sensor that sends signals from the heart, and as on the signal data, the value is plotted on the graph for a real-time view of the vitals of the user. The muscle activity is monitored using the electromyogram sensor to read the muscle functions. A pulse oximeter and heart-rate sensor measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and heart rate using photoplethysmography by emitting red and infrared light and detecting the absorbance of pulsing blood through a photodetector. During any fall situation where the body is unconscious, it is detected by the gyro sensor. The ESP32 works as the brain and the fundamental part of the system that collects and integrates all sensor statistics, which is then sent to the dashboard using the ESP32's built-in Wi-Fi system for visualization by the user and other data processing.
