Abstract

We’ve travelled quite a journey together. From understanding why language models represent something genuinely new, through the nuanced realities of workplace transformation, to discovering collaborative frameworks that enhance rather than replace human capability. We’ve explored digital companionship and its darker side, confronted the possibility of manipulation through artificial empathy, and acknowledged the fundamental unknowability of what emerges next. Throughout this exploration, one truth has surfaced repeatedly: the future of AI isn’t predetermined by technological capability, nor policymakers, nor corporate profit-chasing of Silicon Valley companies, but rather shaped by the millions of individuals, like you, using AI.
