Abstract

The Python programming language is rapidly becoming one of the most popular computer languages, particularly in artificial intelligence and in scientific computing. It is a so-called interpreted language , meaning that the user need not compile the code (convert into machine language) before executing it. Unlike many other languages, such as C, in Python one does not specify the type of variable. That is, one does not directly indicate if a variable should be treated as an integer, floating point, string, etc . Some may like this feature; others may dislike it. But all agree that not being a strongly typed language makes for less typing in Python than in other languages.
