Abstract

Real-time data is essential for improving drilling efficiency and optimising performance in modern drilling operations. By continuously monitoring both surface data (e.g., mud pit volume, flow rate, hook load, surface RPM, and cutting analysis) and downhole data (e.g., bottom hole pressure, torque on bit, and vibration), engineers can quickly identify potential issues, such as lost circulation, drill string sticking, or equipment malfunctions. Early detection enables timely corrective actions, preventing problems from worsening.
