Abstract

Using a digital twin can significantly enhance wellbore design. The drilling industry is undergoing a transformative shift with the integration of digital twins, automation, and real-time operations centres. Digital twins, which are virtual replicas of physical wellbores and drilling equipment, allow operators to simulate and optimise drilling processes before actual implementation. This technology enhances decision-making by providing a comprehensive view of the well’s lifecycle, predicting potential issues, and improving overall efficiency.
