Abstract

Green nanomaterial synthesized using environmentally benign methods, has emerged as promising agents in biomedicine. They are revolutionizing sustainable technology, demanding precise characterization to optimize their performance. This chapter describes about the synthesis of nanomaterial using green nanoparticles such as plant extract, plant compounds & microbial synthesis. Green nanoparticles are utilized in biomedical applications such as cancer treatment, specific drug delivery and tissue engineering. It is also applied in waste water treatment and in pollution control. Case studies highlight their application in agricultural industries, food sector and in waste water treatment. Furthermore, it highlights the advanced analytical techniques applied to evaluate their structural, chemical & functional properties. The discussion includes utilization of upgraded biodegradable polymers and Nano-catalysts for green manufacturing.
