Abstract

Selecting the right air purification systems for health and well-being is essential to understanding the needs of the indoor environment and improving indoor air quality (IAQ). This chapter emphasizes that environmental engineers and IAQ professionals should use both traditional and emerging technologies. The combined hybrid approach will provide effective strategies for controlling airborne contaminants. These interventions can enhance public health and offer sustainable indoor spaces. Using these technologies, they can create optimized air purification systems that contribute to healthier, more sustainable buildings.
