Abstract

In light of the increasing challenges to AI-blockchain systems, this article examines privacy preservation in Industry 4.0/5.0. After analysing privacy needs, risks, and assaults, we categorise blockchain solutions (data/network privacy) and artificial intelligence techniques (data/model/service privacy). This paper first analyzes the essential privacy needs and identifies major threats and attacks linked to systems that integrate blockchain and artificial intelligence. Next, it surveys blockchain-based approaches for privacy protection, proposing a classification that distinguishes between data privacy and network privacy. It then reviews AI-driven privacy-preserving techniques, organized into privacy of data, privacy of models, and privacy of services. This study emphasizes on privacy as a lifestyle, and its importance for everyone, especially people with disabilities who rely on protected technology. Finally, the discussion explores ongoing privacy challenges and future directions for advancing privacy-focused approaches in Industry 4.0 and beyond.
